Fuller, darker, longer eyelashes. Manufactured by Allergan, the makers of BOTOX Cosmetic, LATISSE is now available and can only be prescribed by a doctor. It is a once-daily treatment applied to the base of the upper eyelashes with a sterile, single-use-per-eye disposable applicator.

Because the product is a bimatoprost ophthalmic solution (Lumigan), an eyedrop used to treat glaucoma, a comprehensive eye exam is indicated before it is prescribed. These exams may be covered by your health plan. Prescriptions for this product will be dispensed after the doctor has determined that you are a good candidate. Potential side effects are redness, irritation or possible discoloration of the eyelid.
