• TREATING DRY EYE SYNDROME WITH INTENSE PULSED LIGHT THERAPY (IPL)

  Christopher Coad, MD, is now treating dry eye syndrome with intense pulsed light therapy (IPL). As a medical practice specializing in both eye care and cosmetic procedures, Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery Associates is first to offer this treatment. The IPL is applied directly below the eyelash margin to improve the function of the meibomian glands. When this function is improved, the symptoms of dry eye syndrome decrease.
